3 Ways to Increase Sales this Black Friday & Cyber Monday

Traditionally, Black Friday is a US event, held the day after Thanksgiving & the busiest shopping day of the year, as it marks the start of the silly season.

Black Friday & Cyber Monday are becoming increasingly popular around the world and it’s time for online store owners to start getting involved.

More & more people are deciding to spend their time searching for the best deals online, instead of having to contend with the chaos in stores,

Which means that there is no better time than now to start making the most of Black Friday and Cyber Monday & increase your sales before Christmas!

This year, Black Friday falls on November 29th & Cyber Monday on December 2nd, so you have a few weeks to make the most of it.

Today, I’m sharing with you my top 3 ways to increase your sales this Black Friday & Cyber Monday.

Offer a discount in exchange for an email address

As we all know, Black Friday & Cyber Monday are all about the discounts.

This doesn’t mean you need to immediately discount everything in your online store, but you could offer an exclusive discount to those who sign up to your email list or are already on it.

If you’re not already collecting the email addresses of those landing on your site, you need to start doing it now.

Being able to email your previous & potential customers about your upcoming offers or new product launches is the best way to connect with your audience.

Who doesn’t love a good discount straight to their inbox?

Facebook Ads Targeting Shoppers

As you know, I’m a bit of a Facebook Ads geek, so I couldn’t leave them out of this post.

Spending a bit of time targeting your ideal customers through Facebook Ads in the build-up to Black Friday & Cyber Monday will help to make sure you get as many eyes on your products before you launch your offers.

And if you’re going to be offering exclusive discounts to your email subscribers, then it’s a great way to grow your list before Black Friday hits.

If you’re a Facebook Ad newbie and have no idea where to start, I have the perfect training for you here.

In this tutorial, I’ll walk you step-by-step through how to set up your first ever Facebook Ad.

Limited Time Offers

Even though Black Friday & Cyber Monday are full-day events, it doesn’t mean you have to have one discount available for those days.

For example, you may decide to offer a discount on 10 products through the day, so instead of having them discounted throughout the whole day, you would only have a couple on offer at any one time.

By having certain products on offer for a short amount of time will give your potential buyers a sense of urgency to buy now before the discount ends.

And you might find that offering limited-time discounts throughout the day has a better overall effect on your sales.

Whatever you decide to offer during the Black Friday & Cyber Monday sales, it’s important you make the most of these types of sales.

This is because people are actively seeking out deals over these days so you’d be missing a trick if you didn’t consider offering any type of discount during this time.
